When Sam’s attempt to sabotage his father’s house fails, he pitches a fit and confesses to using drugs since he was twelve because no one has ever cared what he does. When a man is diagnosed with terminal cancer, he takes custody of his misanthropic teenage son, for whom quality time means getting high, engaging in small-time prostitution, and avoiding his father.
